The Merino Sheep Collection by Tadd Myers captures the authentic beauty of New Zealand’s South Island—home to historic Merino sheep stations and multigenerational farming families. These fine art prints showcase breathtaking landscapes, skilled shepherds, and the remarkable dogs that guide each flock across rugged mountain terrain. From narrow high-country roads to the daily rhythms of life on a working sheep farm, every photograph reflects Myers’ immersive journey and the natural elegance of the Merino breed. Perfect as luxury wall art or collector pieces, this collection brings the charm, craftsmanship, and heritage of Merino sheep farming into any home or gallery setting.
TO BE HONEST,
I'D NEVER REALLY
CARED ALL THAT
MUCH ABOUT WOOL.
Not the wool socks that always seem to show up each year in my Christmas stocking. Not my kid's mittens, my wife's scarves or the unruly stack of blankets in the basket next to our couch. Even with our overly pampered pups, Toby and Skippy, the ridiculous miniature sweaters were more embarrassing than anything. Nope. To me, wool was just wool.
That was until I traveled halfway around the world to photograph sheep.
